Servizi Speciali(Special Services) grew out of a synergistic relationship between professionals in the telecommunications field, resulting in a spontaneous integration and evolution of the world of Information Technology and Telecommunications.
Our mission is to satisfy the customer’s every requirement through analysis, design, implementation and after-sales support.

TELECARE
Telecare is the first major system for the modernization and automation of social and health services in the Social-Health District 6 which includes the Municipalities of Ribera (lead partner), Burgio, Cattolica Eraclea, Montallegro, Lucca Sicula, Calamonaci and Villafranca Sicula.
Telecare was born with the aim of providing services to individuals and families in terms of home assistance, social and work inclusion, support and temporary replacement of the family and help for the individual. The aim was to deal with the social welfare and social health services of the population and of the various weaker targets, proposing a unique and innovative tool for activating supplementary actions and remote services.
SMART BUILDING
Not only energy efficiency but also predictive maintenance, comfort and health.
One of the first requirements relating to smart building is represented by the optimal management of energy and the possibility of offering the best possible comfort to those who live there. The birth and development of the smart building stems precisely from the need to make the various energy consumption more efficient. Priority is given to energy management, certainly starting from the reduction of consumption where buildings account for around 40% of consumption.
The intelligent use of energy is certainly the first starting point on which the concept of smart building is concerted so that energy efficiency can be managed in a controlled, predictive and autonomous way thanks to the digitization of buildings.
This is where the world of the IoT comes into play through sensors and devices connected to a single network capable of controlling and monitoring data on the one hand and on the other taking actions necessary to reduce consumption as previously mentioned.
The resulting advantages are certainly a reduction in costs in terms of use of the raw material: energy! But that’s not all: it increases the livability comfort of buildings by reducing health problems thanks to the remarkable list of sensors currently available on the market, which is constantly expanding and evolving.
Constant monitoring of the devices connected to the electricity grid also means detecting any anomalies and/or faults which translate first of all into savings and subsequently to the resolution of problems deriving from their malfunction.
SMART HOSPITAL
More efficient resource management, more effective care.
One of the socio-scientific fields in which innovation has always found fertile ground, also thanks to the substantial investments by governments and private individuals, is certainly the health sector. In fact, hospital structures need constant revisions to better understand every benefit that discoveries in the medical and technological fields can bring to the entire system.
If research helps care with the implementation of complex machinery and operational methods, from our point of view the logistical organization is fundamental. Never as in this historical period, in fact, has the need been felt to keep a granular account of how many people occupy a given space, how they approach the structure, how much and how they move, and above all what distance keep between them. A priority, in the post-covid era, will in fact always be to ensure that gatherings are avoided within which diseases with a strong viral load can spread and infect patients or their relatives. Our projects, supported by sensors capable of capturing the distance between one subject and another, will help to significantly reduce the risk both inside and outside hospital facilities. In addition to this, our commercial relationships with important manufacturers of biological monitoring products allow us to pay particular attention to the patient himself: all of his biological data will be monitored and processed in maximum safety, so that any anomalies are immediately highlighted, putting health of patients as the main asset of the service.

METAVERSE represents the latest tech’s frontier of the world and has a multitude of applications.
All the real environments can be recreated in virtual mode and the visitor can run inside them with a viewer. The visitor will find himself with his avatar immersed at 360° in a world created ad hoc where he can move freely and perform actions or meet other avatars.
The use of the Metaverse in certain fields shortens distances and makes feasible ideas and projects otherwise not feasible in real life.
Just think of the application in the school world where virtual laboratories could be created with lessons that would help teaching and involve children more.
BLOCKCHAIN
The BlockChain is considered the new generation of Internet and it is based on the data’s decentralization.
These data are distributed in the various nodes that make up the BlockChain to guarantee its IT security; so data’s certification is one of the most important point of BlockChain.

The software can be integrated with the website, and, thanks to browser automation, it allows automated navigation and the execution of actions, such as opening a ticket or booking a demo.
Thanks to AI, the virtual assistant is able to semantically understand user’s requests and provide the most pertinent answer.

CYBER SECURITY
The Firewall/Proxy Server is the solution for integrated security management within the corporate network. The firewall service guarantees that the data traffic entering and leaving the LAN network is controlled and routed correctly.
Through the proxy the contents requested by the various clients of the LAN are filtered, preventing or denying access based on the content. The synergy between the two services guarantees maximum protection against the most dangerous Internet threats, while reducing management complexity.

In addition to providing a powerful firewall and router platform, it includes a long list of packages that allow you to easily expand functionality without compromising system security. Servizi Speciali’s system is a rigorously tested, flexible solution that is suitable for a very wide range of applications: from domestic use to large companies, public bodies, ministries and universities. It may be used to generate statistical reports summarising information such attempted attacks, the most frequently-visited sites, on the largest files downloaded from the system, etc., enabling the user to implement the appropriate countermeasures.
CONFIGURING THE FIREWALL/PROXY AT THE CUSTOMER’S PREMISES
The Firewall/Proxy is installed and configured at the customer’s site, the activity consists of physically installing the hardware, installing the UNIX-based operating systems, and then configuring the firewall and proxy services.
The firewall system is fully configurable by modifying the INPUT/OUTPUT chains so as to filter the incoming and outgoing traffic from the customer’s LAN to IP level.
By modifying the FORWARDING chain, it is also possible to direct incoming traffic to a specific port on an internal server hosting a specific service. The appropriately configured proxy service filtering system prevents access to certain Internet content, based on pre-set categories and categories defined by the customer in specific WHITELISTS/BLACKLISTS.
The technology in question is also capable of checking very large lists of domains, URLs, words or phrases related to pornography and other categories. Furthermore, the proxy service also includes IDS (Intrusion Detection System) functionality, which enables real-time analysis of IP network traffic in order to identify potential threats and intrusions.

IBEACON SOLUTIONS
IBeacons are a new class of low power transmitters (Bluetooth Low Energy) capable of sending notifications to smartphones, or other compatible devices, equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 technology within a radius of 50/70 meters.
IBeacon technology allows you to perform actions on, and interact with smartphones when they are located near an iBeacon. IBeacons can also be powered by an internal battery and are available in various shapes and sizes.
iBeacon uses a unique universal identifier associated with the repeater and can be interpreted by an App or a compatible operating system. The device can determine the physical location of the iBeacon and trigger notifications or other actions. The use of Bluetooth 4.0, rather than GPS technology, means the system is also suitable for indoor use.
It can be powered electrically or by an internal battery with an average life of about two years.

In the 4.0 era it is necessary to provide that the devices proposed to the market have an intelligent section capable of providing and receiving information useful for monitoring and operation combined with control in real time.
This asset monitoring is made possible thanks to the level of technological evolution present in IoT platforms which are now able to allow the connection of any device or apparatus to the network along its entire path of use.
